Welcome to Nicole Moore’s Second Grade Class!
I hope everyone is enjoying their summer! I am excited for a wonderful year in second grade getting to know each of you and being able to provide a nurturing, developmental learning environment. I believe a strong learning environment goes hand in hand with good relationships. Strong parent communication and involvement is an important component to my classroom, so I look forward to seeing and speaking to all of you often!
I have reached two years in Colorado this summer and have LOVED every moment, including my two years as part of the Gold Rush family! My husband Jeremie, five-year-old son Jayden, three-year-old daughter Annabelle and I have spent our summer camping and enjoying the outdoors, as well as having tons of family come visit. Along with our adventures out of the home, we welcomed 8 puppies to our family; we have both the mother and father! This is my third year here at Gold Rush and I spent four years teaching second grade in South Florida. I graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 2011 with my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and I am currently in my master's program for Special Education at the University of Colorado. I am excited to be your child’s teacher and I look forward to our year together!
I can’t wait to meet each of you at Meet the Teacher on Monday, August 7th!
Sincerely,
